Let me tell you a little about my education and training

I got my Diploma in Translation Studies (Sworn Translator of English) at Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 2005, and since then, I have undertaken a very enriching path of continuous professional development that allowed me to deepen my professional skills and offer services suitable for the needs of different organizations and individuals. I became certified as an International Spanish Proofreader and Copy Editor by Fundación Litterae and Fundéu (Spain). I did a three-year research and teaching practice for the chair of Comparative Grammar (English-Spanish) at UNLP. Moreover I completed the five-year course of Italian at the Dante Alighieri Association seat of La Plata, my hometown, and I made two one-month immersion trips in Italy, with other young people with Lazio origins from around the globe. The trips included Monday-Friday advanced level language lessons and cultural visits within my grandfather’s region and to other sites of interest in the Bel Paese during weekends. In the last ten years, I have attended several courses and training sessions in Conference Interpreting, both in English and Italian, and I have completed a two-year specialization course on Simultaneous Interpreting in the field of Biomedicine.

Over 15 years in the career, both as a team member
and as a freelancer

My first steps and part of my experience

In 2003, two years before my graduation, I started an internship for the Government of the province of Buenos Aires, and from the moment I got my university diploma, I combined my part-time work with my first projects for clients and translation companies. I worked for the provincial government administration until December 2015, and during all those years I was part of different teams in directions of Communication, Institutional Image, International Relations and Foreign Trade, and performed translation, proofreading, copyediting, copywriting, and interpreting tasks

During the first years after obtaining my university diploma, I was licensed as a Sworn Translator by the Supreme Court of the Province of Buenos Aires. Currently I am licensed by Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CTPCBA).

My main services

I have collaborated with companies, organizations, translation agencies and individuals since I graduated. My main translation areas are Market Research, Legal, Medicine and Agriculture. I also take care of the linguistic validation of quality of life questionnaires, patient reported outcomes, e-diaries and similar follow-up devices for persons with a wide range of diagnosis.

In addition to sworn translations of English, I offer interpreting services at marriages and civil partnerships ceremonies in the City of Buenos Aires. For meetings, exhibitions, and conferences I work as an interpreter both in English and in Italian, and I also provide remote simultaneous interpretation services via Zoom or the clients’ preferred platforms.
